Earlier this year, Huawei had debuted the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones in China. Apart from China, no other country has received new Nova 2 series phones. However, it seems that the Nova 2 Plus would be launching soon in the U.S. as it has received approval by Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

The Chinese Nova 2 Plus has a model number of BAC-AL00. Model numbers BAC-L03 and BAC-L23 have appeared on FCC. These could be the two variants of the Nova 2 Plus that will be releasing in the U.S. The BAC-L03 could be single-SIM model whereas the BAC-L23 could be dual-SIM variant.

The Huawei Nova 2 Plus is driven by Kirin 659 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 128 GB. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display and it is packed with a big battery of 3,340 mAh capacity. It also features dual rear camera system that includes a 12-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. It has a 20-megapixel frontal shooter. In China, the smartphone is costing around €400 ($460).
