Fresh information suggest that Samsung is around three to four months ahead of its schedule for the launch of Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ had debuted in March last year followed by market release in April. Samsung is rumored to ship OLED screens for the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+ in November which suggests that smartphone would be ready for launch by the end of January 2018 and it is expected to go on sale in mid-February.

The probable reason behind the early launch of the Galaxy S9 duo is that the South Korean company wants to defend its flagship against the heavily anticipated Apple iPhone 8 that is rumored to debut next month. Previous rumors coming from South Korea has also revealed that the LG G7 is also slated to get announced through Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 and may go on sale in February.
