Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus Receives TENAA Certification, Reveals RAM and Battery Sizes

Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were unveiled on Tuesday. However, during the launch event, the Cupertino company did not confirm the RAM and battery configurations of both phones. Now that the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have appeared on TENAA, China’s telecommunication certification body, their entire specifications have been revealed.

The iPhone 8 comes with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display that supports a resolution of 750 x 1,334 pixels and it is powered by Apple A11 Bionic chipset. The TENAA listing reveals that the iPhone 8 has 2 GB of RAM. As far as its battery is concerned, the iPhone 8 includes a 1,821mAh capacity battery. The handset comes in storage choices of 64 GB and 256 GB and they are respectively priced at $699 and $849.

iPhone 8 Plus

The iPhone 8 Plus features a larger 5.5-inch FHD display and it is also powered by the Apple A11 chipset. The SoC is supported by 3 GB of RAM and it also comes in 64 GB and 256 GB storage models. TENAA listing has revealed that it includes a 2,675mAh battery. Both the storage variants are respectively priced at $799 and $949.

The pre-orders of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will begin in the U.S. on Sept. 15 and will be available at the stores from Sept. 22.
