The Honor 7X has been officially confirmed to debut on Oct. 11. The rumor mill has revealed that it would be coming with an 18:9 aspect ratio display and rear-facing dual cameras. The alleged pricing of its storage variants had surfaced earlier today. Now, the rumor mill has revealed the specifications of the smartphone.
The Honor 7X is rumored to arrive with a 5.93-inch display. It is speculated to be driven by Kirin 659 chipset. The new SoC is an enhanced edition of Kirin 658. The Kirin 659 is an 16nm SoC that features four cores of Cortex A53 working at 2.36 GHz and four cores of Cortex A51 working at 1.7 GHz. The SoC also includes Mali-T830 MP2 graphics.
The rear side of the phone is expected to feature a horizontally arranged dual camera setup that will include a 12-megapixel sensor and a 20-megapixel sensor. The frontside of the Honor 7X is pegged to feature an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It includes a 3,420 mAh battery that will support 5V/2A charging.
The Honor 7X is codenamed as bond and its 3C certification has revealed model numbers like BND-AL0 and BND-TL10. The base model of Honor 7X featuring 64 GB storage and 3 GB of RAM is expected to be priced at 1,799 Yuan ($270) and the other model featuring 64 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM is pegged to cost 2,099 Yuan ($315).
