Oppo R11S, R11S Leaks: Arriving with 18:9 Display, Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 835?

The Oppo R11 and R11 Plus smartphones were unveiled in June this year. Both the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 660. Rumors have it that the Chinese manufacturer has already begun working on a successor for Oppo R11. The alleged Oppo R11s is speculated to get unveiled as early as Nov. 2.

Rumors have it that the Oppo R11S would be coming with an 18:9 full screen design. The handset is speculated to feature a 6-inch OLED screen from Samsung. It is expected to carry support for QHD+ resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 pixels.

The rear design of the Oppo R11S seems to be similar to the original R11 handset. It is pegged to arrive with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The handset is unlikely to feature a 3.5mm audio jack. The bottom side of the phone may feature a USB-C port.

One of the sensor of the dual rear camera system is expected on both handsets could be 24-megapixel Samsung S5K2X7 that has a pixel size of 0.9?m. The Oppo R11S is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 660 whereas the R11S Plus may feature the Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 6 GB of RAM. This could mean that the Oppo R11S Plus could be a flagship specs. We advise our readers to digest the specs of the R11S duo with a pinch of salt as the company has not launched a flagship phone since quite some time.

The Oppo R11S and R11S Plus are rumored to respectively cost 2,999 Yuan (~$455) and 3,499 Yuan (~$a531).
