HTC Confirms November 2 Launch Event Probably for Launching U11 Plus Flagship

In the past week, Chinese media had confirmed that HTC will be holding a launch event on Nov. 2. However, there was no official confirmation from HTC. The Taiwanese company has finally announced that it will be unveiling something new on Nov. 2.

The above teaser from the company does not reveal much about its forthcoming device. The #BrilliantU hashtag suggests that it will be unleashing a U-branded phone on Nov. 2. The rumor mill has revealed plenty of information on the alleged U11 Plus that may get unveiled on Nov. 2.

Recent reports have revealed that a 6-inch P-OLED screen will be present on the U11 Plus and this flagship phone will be powered by Snapdragon 835. The display is expected to deliver an aspect ratio of 18:9.

In some markets, the U11 Plus would be available in 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage model. In other markets, it will arrive with 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB of storage. These models will also feature a microSD card slot. For photography, it will include a 12-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing snapper of 8-megapixel. Also, it will be featuring a 4,000mAh battery. The USP of U11 phone is the pressure-sensitive Edge Sense frame. This feature is also pegged to be available on the U11 Plus.
