The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is powered by the Exynos 8895 chipset. Today, the company has unveiled the Exynos 9810 chipset that is designed for delivering flagship performance. Speculations are rife that the upcoming Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ flagship smartphones would be driven by the new Exynos 9810.
The Exynos 9810 is the second generation chipset after the Exynos 8895. It is developed to produce better performance by consuming less power. The Samsung Galaxy S9 duo are rumored to arrive in Snapdragon 845 edition for markets like the U.S. and China. It is also speculated as a second-generation 10nm chipset that will replace this year’s Snapdragon 835.
The 6CA industry-first carrier aggregation feature available on the Exynos 9810 will allow users to achieve a peak download speed of 1.2 Gbps. The exact specifications of the Exynos 9810 will be revealed soon by Samsung as it has already confirmed the chipset. This new chipset along with 36 other Samsung products such as ISOCELL Slim 2X7 sensor, 16 GB GDDR6 RAM, and 8TB NVMe SSD were showcased at the CES 2018 Innovation Awards.
