Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ Release Date Reportedly Scheduled in Early March

The rumor mill has leaked a lot of information of the upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+ phones in the recent weeks. According to a South Korean publication, Samsung will reportedly begin the mass production of Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ starting from next month. The South Korean company is aiming to announce the Galaxy S9 duo at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 event that will be held at Barcelona in February next year. Following its unveil, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will releasing the smartphones in the market in early March.

The publication has also revealed that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will feature a stacked system board that will allow to save internal space. Initially five suppliers will be producing it and an another one will be added in February.

The report also claims that the Galaxy S9 will be coming with a single camera sensor while the dual camera feature will be exclusively available on the S9+. The camera sensors will be supplied by the company’s own Electro Mechanics wing. The reason why the company is planning to begin the mass production of Galaxy S9 and S9+ is that it aims to reserve stock well in advance for the demand these flagships will encounter.
