Upcoming Meizu 15 & 15 Plus reportedly certified in China

After the upcoming unveiling of the Meizu M6S a.k.a mblu S6, the company’s next smartphone under the spotlight is definitely their 15th anniversary’s Meizu 15 and 15 Plus flagship devices. According to new reports out of Chinese mainland, the highly anticipated duo had already been certified by the country’s SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China) agency.

Meizu 15 & 15 Plus

This two devices carries the model numbers M811C as well as M851M respectively, with the former being the Meizu 15 smartphone and the latter being the 15 Plus. As of now, there isn’t much information on both this devices even though rumors are suggesting that the new flagship will be powered by either a Snapdragon 845 SoC or a Samsung-made Exynos 9810 chip. This time round, the duo will definitely not be equipped with Mediatek’s SoC as the company had already earlier confirmed that they will not be manufacturing anymore high-end SoC for at least the next one year or two.

From what we’d learned from the earlier leaked images, the Meizu 15 and 15 Plus duo is expected to be featuring a full-screen design which resembles closely to the Mi Mix 2. Similar to most other recent flagship devices, they will most probably be coming with a dual-camera setup on its rear chassis as well. As for its fingerprint sensor, it may be affixed to the side of the device just like the upcoming Meizu M6S, since the company will probably ditched their signature mback button in order to increase the device’s screen-to-body ratio.
