Earlier today, the recently unveiled Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 went for its debut sales in China with all three variants available for grabs. However, within just a few minutes after the sales commence, the device had already went out of stock. The same thing occurred last month when the device went on sale in India as well.

Currently, Xiaomi has yet to reveal when the next batch of Redmi Note 5 will arrive, but we do believe they will be available again in the next couple of weeks. As a quick recap, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is available in 3 different models with the 3GB+32GB model coming with a price tag of 1,099 Yuan ($174), 4GB+64GB model at 1,399 Yuan ($221), as well as a higher-end 6GB+64GB model arriving at 1,699 Yuan ($269).

The Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inches FHD+ display with an 18:9 tall aspect ratio. For the Chinese variant, the device is driven by a Snapdragon 636 SoC which scored more than 115,000 points on AnTuTu Benchmark for its impressive performance. Camera-wise, it comes equipped with a 12MP+5MP main snapper on the back, as well as a 13 megapixels front-facing selfie cam. Furthermore, there is also a 4,000mAh battery available under the hood to keep the device ticking for a decent amount of time.
