Smartisan Nut 3 Officially Announced in China with Snapdragon 625, 4,000mAh Battery, 1,299 Yuan (~$206)

Smartisan has launched the Nut 3 mid-range smartphone today. It features an 18:9 aspect ratio display, slim body and 4,000mAh battery. The pre-booking of the Smartisan Nut 3 has started in China on JingDong Mall.

Smartisan Nut 3 has a tri-bezeless design with glass panels on both sides. The handset has a thin profile of 7.16mm. It has a 5.99-inch FHD+ resolution supporting display that produces an aspect ratio of 18:9.  The Snapdragon 625 SoC powers the smartphone along with 4 GB of RAM. It can be availed in different storage models such as 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. For additional storage, users can make add a microSD card through the hybrid dual SIM slot.

Smartisan Nut 3 Launched

For photography, it features 13-megapixel dual camera setup and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner of the phone can be used for unlocking as well as for authenticating payments through WeChat and AliPay. It also features Face Unlock function. The handset is running on Smartisan OS 4.x, a customized version of Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The handset receives power from 4,000mAh battery that is equipped with 9V/2A Quick Charge 3.0 charging.

The three variants of the phone are respectively priced at 1,299 Yuan (~$206), 1,599 (`$253) and 1,999 Yuan (~$317). The starting variants are also available in special edition models that are respectively priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$238) and 1,799 (~$285). It will be available for buying starting from April 22.
