Last year, Motorola had launched the Moto Z2 flagship phone alongside the upper mid-range Moto Z2 Play in June. Earlier this month, the company had announced the Moto Z3 Play smartphone. However, the Moto Z3 flagship was announced along with it. Today, the company has confirmed through its social media channels that there will be big launch event on Aug. 2. The event will be held at Chicago and it will kick off at 2 PM. Following is the video teaser of the upcoming launch event.
The company has claimed that through the upcoming event, it will be providing “a whole new way to connect, stream, download, video chat and more.” Probably, it could be teasing the arrival of its flagship phone.
The rumor mill has not revealed much information about the Moto Z3. However, rumors that had surfaced at the beginning of the year had claimed that apart from the Z3 Play, the Z series Motorola phones may include Moto Z3 and Z3 Power/Plus. Since it will be flagship phone, it is likely to feature Snapdragon 845.
The other phone that may get announced at the Motorola event is the One Power Android One smartphone. It is speculated that another model with Motorola One moniker may also launch alongside it. Since the launch event is more than a month away, it is advisable to wait for further leaks to know which devices will be announced on Aug. 2
