Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) smartphones. The latter features a triple camera setup while the former is the world’s first smartphone with four rear cameras. The South Korean company is also prepping another smartphone that seems to be lower in specs and is fitted with a dual camera setup. This handset is expected to debut as Galaxy A6s in China. Recent reports have revealed that it has a model number of SM-G6200. This model has also been certified by TENAA telecom authority in China. Fresh photos of the handset which carries a codename of Phoenix have surfaced from China.
Rumors have it that the Galaxy A6s will be Samsung’s first ODM device. Since the South Korean company has been struggling in the Chinese market, it has reportedly signed up a contract with Wintech to deal with the production of Samsung branded phones. Wintech also manages the production o Xiaomi phones.
Coming back to the leaked photos, the Galaxy A6s can be seen in colors like purple, red, blue and black. The images reveal it is the very same SM-G6200 phone that has been certified in China. The handset features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ resolution display, 3,300mAh battery, 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB storage models, Android 8.1 Oreo OS, 12-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup, 5-megapixel selfie camera and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
