A leakster from China has claimed that Vivo is working on a new smartphone that it will be equipped with front and rear displays. The tipster claims that it will be an upcoming Vivo NEX series smartphone. He has also shared leaked hands-on photos of the alleged smartphone.
Some may assume that the phone that has surfaced in the leaked photos could be the Vivo NEX 2 smartphone. However, the leakster has claimed that it could be another device since he has claimed that it is fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The handset is expected to feature an OLED screen of 6.4 inches on the front. The notch-less screen does seem to offer a high screen-to-body ratio. The rear side of the phone is tipped to house a smaller OLED display. It is rumored to carry support for 22.5W fast charging. There is no confirmation on whether it is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera like the Vivo NEX phone. Above the rear display is an LED flash followed by the two horizontally arranged dual cameras and a module for laser autofocus. The company’s brand name is visible below the secondary display.
There are no details available on the other specifications of this mysterious Vivo NEX phone. It is speculated to break cover in December.
