A Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G8870 has been certified by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The screenshot of the phone that has surfaced through FCC documents confirms the presence of in-screen camera hole feature. This indicates that the handset could be the upcoming Galaxy A8s phone.
The resolution of the screenshot suggests that the display of the phone will carry support for 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screenshot corroborates with the rumors that the smartphone will be featuring an Infinity-O display design that was recently announced by Samsung. The Galaxy A8s will indeed be the first Samsung to feature it. The smartphone may go official first in China in December. It is likely to hit markets outside of China in January next year.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset will be present under the hood of the device. It could be coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The handset may feature an inbuilt storage of 128 GB and carry a microSD slot for more storage. The 25-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 10-megapixel tripe camera system is expected to be available on the backside of the phone. For shooting selfies, it may feature a 25-megapixel selfie snapper.
