Samsung Galaxy S10 Series Confirmed to Launch on February 20

Multiple reports have claimed that Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S10 series on Feb. 20. Today, Samsung has sent out press invites to convert that the Galaxy S10 lineup will be indeed announced on the said date. The unveiling that will take place at San Francisco, U.S. will happen around a week before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 that is scheduled to occur between Feb. 25 and Feb. 28.

Samsung had reportedly planned to debut the Galaxy S10 phones at the MWC 2019 but had to change its decision as it did not want to coincide with Huawei’s foldable phone launch. Rumors have it the Galaxy S10 family members include Galaxy S10 E (entry-level model), Galaxy S10 and the premium Galaxy S10 Plus.

The S10 E will feature a smaller flat screen, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual camera. The S10 is rumored to arrive with a dual edge curved display with punch-hole for selfie camera, ultra-sonic in-display fingerprint scanner and triple rear cameras. The S10 Plus is pegged to arrive with a wide punch-hole for two selfie snappers on its dual edge curved screen. It is also expected to feature an ultrasonic -under-screen fingerprint sensor.

In March, the South Korean is expected to announce its first foldable smartphone. The company is also rumored to debut 5G version of Galaxy S10 Plus alongside it.
