Sony Xperia 1 with 4K OLED Display and Triple Rear Cameras Announced

Sony Xperia 1 is the latest premium smartphone from the company. It is the first smartphone ever to feature a 4K OLED display. Moreover, it is the company’s first phone to arrive with triple rear-mounted cameras.

Sony Xperia 1 Specifications and Features

The Sony Xperia 1 is fitted with a 6.5-inch CinemaWide OLED display that produces a screen resolution of 3840 x 1644 pixels. The display also carries support for HDR. The marvelous display promises cinematic viewing experience. Also, it is equipped with stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos technology.

The back panel of the Xperia 1 is fitted with three 12-megapixel sensors. The main sensor is an f/1.6 aperture lens along with OIS, EIS and dual pixel autofocus. The other two are telephoto lens and ultra-wide lens. It has a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel.’

The Xperia 1 is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6 GB of RAM. The handset will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage options. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone is packed with a 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging and USB PD. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a power key.

The Sony Xperia 1 pricing is still under the wraps. It will be hitting the stores by late spring in the U.S.
