Redmi will be announcing the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones in China on May 28. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese firm has confirmed some of the features of the Redmi K20 phone. Starting from today, the Chinese firm is receiving the pre-orders of the smartphone in China with a payment of 100 Yuan. Customers who pre-order it can clear the remaining payment on May 28. The price tag of the phone is yet to be confirmed. However, a photo that carries its price is now doing rounds on Weibo. It states that the Redmi K20 will be costing 2,599 Yuan ($376).
The 2,599 Yuan price tag is still cheaper compared to other Snapdragon 855 powered phones. Some netizens are speculating that the price of the Redmi K20 won’t be low because of its arrives with a cheaper price tag, it may affect the sales of the Xiaomi Mi 9 smartphone.
Redmi has so far revealed that the Redmi K20 will be coming with a notch-less AMOLED display with 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 855 mobile platform, 4,000mAh battery, 48-megapixel Ultra-Clear triple camera, 960fps slow-motion video shooting, 3.5mm audio jack and support for Hi-Res audio.
