Vivo Y15 with Triple Cameras and 5,000mAh Battery Announced

After announcing the Vivo Y17 smartphone for offline markets in India recently, Vivo has discreetly unveiled the Vivo Y15 phone in India. The smartphone has arrived with an attractive price tag of Rs. 13,990 and it seems to be a good rival for the Redmi Note 7S and Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphones in the country. The smartphone comes in two color options such as Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red.

Vivo Y15 Specifications and Price

The Vivo Y15 smartphone has a 6.35-inch IPS LCD panel that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels. It offers an aspect ratio of 19:9. The MediaTek Helio P22 chipset that includes a 2.2GHz octa-core processor powers the smartphone with 4 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 64 GB. For more storage, the Vivo phone offers a microSD card slot.

The Vivo Y15 includes a massive battery of 5,000mAh capacity that lacks support for fast charging. There is a triple camera setup on the back panel of the phone that includes a main sensor of 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture, an ultrawide lens of 8-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a selfie camera of 16-megapixel in the waterdrop notch of the display. The FunTouch OS 9 based Android 9 Pie OS comes loaded on the device. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear shell of the device.
