Earlier in this month, a leaked poster had surfaced on Weibo to reveal that Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO will be launching a new phone powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset. It was only yesterday that iQOO took to Weibo to confirm that it will be launching its next smartphone as Vivo iQOO Neo. Today, the Chinese firm has confirmed through a Weibo post that the iQOO Neo phone will be indeed fueled by the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The Snapdragon 845 chipset powered most of the Android flagship phones in the previous year. Shown below is the leaked poster that the iQOO Youth Edition (now known as iQOO Neo) will be featuring the Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The poster revealed that the smartphone will be come with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It also stated that the smartphone will be priced at 1,998 Yuan.
The Vivo iQOO Neo has also appeared on TENAA with some specs such as 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13mm dimensions, 6.38-inch display and 4,420mAh minimum capacity battery. The smartphone will be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. It will also feature a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone will be releasing in gradient Purple and Black (textured rear) color variants.
