In a series of new promotional posters released by Honor today, the Chinese smartphone maker has took the opportunity to tease on the upcoming Honor 9X’s Super Night Mode capability.
Over the years, we’d seen tremendous advancements in Honor’s camera system to such a great extend that it could possibly outperform its parent company in the near future. For instance, the AI Super Night Mode feature of the Honor 20 Pro is able to produce strikingly detailed photographs under low-light conditions – which many smartphone makers are struggling to achieve.
Right now, we can expect the upcoming Honor 9X series to feature the same camera prowess as well. According to the tagline in the latest promotional posters, the Honor 9X will be capable of snapping incredible low-light photography without the aid of a LED flash to illuminate the environment. Traditionally, using LED flash in low-light environment may lead to common “Red-eye” effect or overexposure in certain parts of the photos which makes them undesirable. Now, Honor seems to have found a workaround in their new camera system to eliminate such issues.
Aside from a refreshed camera software and system, the Honor 9X has been confirmed to arrive with a 48MP+8MP dual-camera setup. The Pro version on the other hand, will feature a 48MP+8MP+2MP triple-camera setup instead. Both devices are touted to come with a 24MP motorize pop-up selfie camera as well.
