Jelly Bean hits Sprint Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

Sprint has begun rolling out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, several months after the Wi-Fi variant receives their official update from Samsung. This update will bring the a new customizable lock screen, new notifications field, Project Butter and some other new features to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The update will come in several phases so if you’ve not received the update notification, you probably have to wait a few days more. Similarly, you can also try your luck by going to Settings > About phone > System software updates and manually check for the update.

Do share with us your experience after you’ve installed the Jelly Bean on the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
