Vivo has launched the Vivo Y90 today in India with entry-level specs. With a price tag of Rs. 6,990 ($101), the Vivo Y90 will be competing with the likes of Redmi 7A, Realme C2 and Samsung Galaxy M10 in the country that are available with similar pricing.
Vivo Y90 Specifications and Features
The Vivo Y90 is equipped with a 6.22-inch IPS LCD panel with waterdrop notch. It offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The smartphone offers a screen space of 88.6 percent. The Helio A22 chipset is present at the helm of the device along with 2 GB of RAM.
The Vivo Y90 has a built-in storage of 16 GB and there is a microSD card slot onboard for additional storage. The FunTouch OS 4.5 based Android 9 Pie OS runs on the device. The handset is packed with a 4,030mAh battery. However, it lacks support for fast charging. There is no fingerprint scanner on the device. Hence, its users will have to rely on the face unlock feature for user authentication.
The Vivo Y90 has a rear camera of 8-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Placed on the front is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. The handset offers other features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB, USB OTG and 3.5mm audio jack.
The smartphone has released in India with a price tag of Rs. 6,990 ($101). It will be available in the country from tomorrow through online and offline retailers. The smartphone has arrived in Pakistan with a price tag of PKR 18,999 ($120). The smartphone can be bought in Black and Gold colors.
