AnTuTu has a found a test device with model number ‘k85v1_64’ that is powered by the upcoming Helio G90 processor from MediaTek. Its gaming focused SoC from the Taiwanese chip maker that is scheduled to go official today. On AnTuTu, it has recorded an impressive 222,282 average benchmarking score which suggests that it can offer better performance than the Snapdragon 730 SoC from Qualcomm.
The AnTuTu screenshot reveals that Helio G90 has scored 83145 in CPU, 67,629 in GPU, 57,247 in UX and 14,261 in memory tests. The benchmarking platform claims its performance is higher than 8nm SD730 but lower than the 7nm Kirin 810 chipset. The Helio G90 has A76 architecture CPU that clocks at 2GHz and its GPU is of G76 architecture. Currently, it appears to be the most powerful chipset from MediaTek.
As of this writing, there is no information on the device that will be powered by the Helio G90 chipset. The details on the technical specs of the G90 will be revealed through its official announcement today.
