When Xiaomi had launched the Xiaomi Mi 9 flagship smartphone in February this year, it had released it in two variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Xiaomi has confirmed the arrival of a new variant for the smartphone. It features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The sales of the smartphone will begin from Aug. 14.
The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage carries a price tag of 3,299 Yuan ($467). Buyer of the smartphone will be provided with a free wireless charger of 99 Yuan. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models of the smartphone were introduced with respective pricings of 2,999 Yuan and 3,299 Yuan. With recent price cuts, both models are now selling with respective price tags of 2,599 Yuan and 2,999 Yuan.
Xiaomi Mi 9 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a 6.39-inch S-AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. It produces full HD+ resolution and is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 855 SoC fuels the smartphone. It has a 3,300mAh battery that supports 27W fast charging and 20W rapid wireless charging.
The rear side of the smartphone feature 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 12-megapixelt triple camera setup. It has a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel.
