The Vivo V1916A model number belongs to the upcoming iQOO Pro 5G smartphone. The model number has appeared on Geekbench benchmarking platform through which some of its specs have been revealed.
On Geekbench, the Snapdragon 855+ powered iQOO Pro 5G (V1916A) has scored 3631 in the single-core test and 11,231 in the multi-core test. The SD855+ has a base frequency of 1.8GHz and it is assisted by 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone is preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS.
The Vivo V1916A has already bagged approval from 3C and TENAA authorities of China. Through 3C, it has been found that it carries support for 5G connectivity. Hence, it appears that it could be debuting as Vivo’s first 5G smartphone. Moreover, it will be the first SD855+ powered phone to carry support for 5G connectivity. The 3C listing also confirmed that the phone will be shipping with a 44W fast charger.
Through TENAA it has been found that the phone features a full HD+ 6.41-inch AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint scanner, up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. There is no microSD card slot on the device, and it may lack a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset houses a 48-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel triple camera system and a selfie snapper of 12-megapixel. It will come with a 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone will be announced on Aug. 22.
