Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Redmi Note 8 series will be officially announced on August 29th later this month. During the launch event, the company is also expected to unveil Redmi’s first-ever 70″ 4K smart TV.
Indeed, the press invite released by Xiaomi has reaffirmed previous reports that the Redmi Note 8 series will arrive with a quad-camera setup which houses 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor. As seen above, the Redmi Note 8 will come with an L-shaped camera configuration which has 3 sensors located vertically at the middle and a LED flash and ToF sensor affixed to it’s right. It also has a fingerprint sensor furnished below it’s camera compartment as well.
According to Xiaomi’s VP Lu Weibing, the Redmi Note 8 is already undergoing production more than two weeks ago. He also mentioned that the number of units stocked up this time round should be able to meet the demand of the consumers.
