Last week, Realme had revealed that the company will soon be announcing a number of new smartphones in the Chinese market. Some of the devices are believed to be the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro which were recently launched in India. The Realme 5 Pro had also been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority yesterday.
However, according to the latest Weibo post by Realme’s CMO Xu Qi, it seems like the Chinese smartphone maker has another surprise under their sleeves. That is, the company may finally be announcing the highly anticipated Realme XT smartphone with 64 megapixels quad-camera in their upcoming launch event as well.
In his post, Xu has released an official render of the device showing off it’s Silver Wing White variant. On first look, the device shares a close resemblance to the Realme 5 Pro – except for the absence of rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Furthermore, he also confirmed that the device will be driven by a Snapdragon SoC. Keeping in mind that this device is very likely to be a high-end model, many has speculated it to be driven by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC.
Of course, Realme isn’t the only Chinese smartphone maker which will be launching a 64 megapixels smartphone, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will also debuting with a 64 megapixels quad-camera on August 29th.
