New Honor 20S Renders Show off it’s Front Design

Yesterday, Honor has released a couple of renders showing off the rear design of their upcoming Honor 20S which is slated to be announced on September 4th.

Now, the official renders of the device had been listed on renowned Chinese eCommerce site, JD.com as well. Unlike what we’d seen yesterday, the new renders finally give us our first look at the device’s front panel design – which has a similar hole-punched design as the current Honor 20 and 20 pro.

It’s rear chassis also feature a same design language as the Honor 20 except for the absence of dedicated macro camera. Similarly, we can also see from the renders that the Honor 20S will also arrive with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as seen from the slight intrusion below it’s volume rocker. There will be 3 color options available for the device namely Feather Dish White, Feather Dish Black, as well as Feather Dish Blue.

As mentioned before, the Honor 20S is said to be the Honor YAL-AL50 / TL50 smartphones which were recently certified by the Chinese TENAA authority.

Honor 20S Specifications

According to it’s TENAA listing, the Honor 20S is expected to come with a 6.26-inch display with 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution. Similarly, the device is likely to be powered by a Kirin 980 SoC under the hood, along with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage in it’s memory compartment.

There will be a triple-camera setup on it’s rear chassis which comprises of a 48 megapixels main snapper, an 8 megapixels ultrawide angle lens as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor or macro camera. On the front panel, you can also find a 32 megapixels camera for selfie and video calling purposes.
