Huawei Mate 30 Series will be Officially Announced on September 19th

It’s now official! Huawei has finally confirmed that the feverishly-anticipated Mate 30 series will make it’s official debut on September 19th in Berlin, Germany.

To mark this special occasion, the company has also released a short clip which seems to tease on the circular camera housing on the upcoming Mate 30 series – just like what rumors have been suggesting for the past few months.

From what we’d learned so far, the circular camera housing is expected to feature a quad-camera array which is said to have two 40 megapixels sensors. Aside from that, it was also certain that both the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be driven by the latest Kirin 990 SoC which will be announced on September 6th, during the upcoming IFA event.

Unlike it’s previous flagship launches, the upcoming launch event has been complicated by the US trade ban which has effectively cut off it’s access to crucial Google Play apps and services for the upcoming Mate 30 series. However, Huawei has decided to forge ahead with their scheduled launch event even though the device’s availability may be delayed.
