Vivo has already spilled the beans yesterday that the highly anticipated Vivo NEX 3 5G will be officially announced on September 16th, later this month.
Yesterday, we’d also learned about the device’s official specs and seen it’s official images courtesy to it’s official TENAA listing. However, many of us are still curious about how exactly the waterfall design will looks like on the Vivo NEX 3.
To quell our curiosity, Vivo has finally released a series of teasers which shows exactly what we’re looking for. First and foremost, the front panel of the device has absolutely no visible bezels along it’s sides. Only it’s forehead and chin areas have some thin bezels.
Unlike most other traditional curved display, the waterfall display has more pronounced curved edges along the sides which extend almost entirely to it’s back panel. This help the Vivo NEX 3 to reportedly achieve an impressive 99.6% screen-to-body ratio.
To accommodate it’s full screen display, the device will deploy a pop-up selfie camera which is said to house a dual-camera setup.
Vivo NEX 3 Specifications
According to it’s official TENAA listing, the Vivo Nex 3 5G will arrive with a 6.89-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2256 pixels screen resolution. It has an overall footprint of 167.44×76.14×9.4 mm and weighs approximately 218.5 grams.
Under the hood, the device will be driven by the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and has up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB onboard storage. Although many believed 12GB RAM is an overkill for smartphones, but that doesn’t seems to stop most flagship devices to be packed with hefty RAMs.
Moving on to it’s camera, the Vivo Nex 3 will have a triple-camera setup which comprises of a 64 megapixels main snapper, alongside a duo of 13 megapixels shooters which are believed to be ultra wide angle and telephoto lens respectively.
As expected, the device will also come with a 4,500mAh non-removable battery which supports 44W fast-charging out of the box.
