OPPO will be launching the OPPO Reno Ace flagship phone in the coming month. It is expected to arrive as company’s first phone with 90Hz refresh rate display. OPPO Vice President Brian Shen today confirmed that the phone will be equipped with support for 65W Super VOOC fast charging technology.
OPPO is yet to officially announce the 65W Super VOOC charging technology. Shen has said on Weibo that the 65W fast charging technology will be arriving as the world’s fastest rapid charging technology and its mass production is scheduled to begin in the next month. The new technology is even more advanced than 50W Super VOOC tech that was made available on the OPPO R17 Pro last year. The R17 Pro’s 50W charging allowed it to gain 40 percent juice in just 10 minutes of charging.
The other specifications of the Reno Ace are known yet. However, it is expected to be fueled by Snapdragon 855+. It could be the SD855+ OPPO PCKM70 phone that was certified by TENAA earlier this month. It has 6.6-inch notch-less AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution, 12 GB of RAM, native storage of 256 GB, 16-megapixel camera and a quad camera system with 48-megapixel, 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors.
