Meizu has recently launched the Meizu 16s Pro flagship phone and now the rumor mill is speculating on the next flagship phone from the company. Leaked renders of the Meizu 17 have appeared today. The new images show that the smartphone will be equipped with a dual edge curved display.
The images that show the Black and White variants of the Meizu 17 show that the smartphone is equipped with a 48-megapixel AI triple camera setup and a LED ring flash. The edges of the rear panel are curved.
The front view of the phone shows that it features super-slim upper and lower bezels. The top bezel has a breathing light LED indicator and a 20-megapixel front camera. The display of the phone is equipped with screen sound technology and it is embedded with a fingerprint sensor. Speaking of the display, it can be seen with extremely curved edges. The side buttons and volume controller are not found on the edges of the phone which indicates these could be available as pressure-sensitive buttons.
Previous reports have claimed that the Meizu 17 will be based on Meizu Zero concept phone that was announced earlier. The smartphone is expected to go official next year. It could be the first 5G smartphone from the company.
