Earlier this month, leaked renders showing the Black and White editions of the rumored Meizu 17 smartphone were spotted on Weibo. A new render of the upcoming Meizu 17 has surfaced once again on Weibo. The new renders match with the previously seen images of the phone.
The Meizu 17 render only showcases its front design. The handset is equipped with a dual edge curved display. It remains to be seen whether it debuts as the first Meizu phone with 90Hz refresh rate display. It features symmetrical upper and lower bezels that appear very thin. The top bezel has an earpiece and a selfie snapper. The smartphone is also equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is rumored to come without physical buttons. Hence, it is expected to come with pressure-sensitive controls for volume and power.
Rumors are rife that the Meizu 17 could be based on the Meizu Zero concept phone. The previously seen renders of the phone had revealed that it will be featuring a 48-megapixel AI triple camera system with LED ring flash. It may come with a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel. The Meizu 17 phone is expected to debut as Meizu’s 5G smartphone.
