The Vivo U3 mid-ranger which was recently teased by Vivo, had made it’s official debut in China earlier today.
In terms of design, the Vivo U3 shares a close resemblance to the recently announced U3x – the rebranded variant of Vivo U10. However, the Vivo U3 will sport some decent upgrades for it’s internals as compared to the current U3x.
Vivo U3 Specifications
For starter, the Vivo U3 will arrive with a 6.53-inch display with FHD+ screen resolution. Under the hood, the device is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.
Moving on to it’s camera, it’s triple-camera setup on the rear chassis comprises of a 16 megapixels main snapper, an 8 megapixels ultrawide sensor, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. On the front panel, it’s water drop-notch will play host to a 16 megapixels selfie camera as well.
The device is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery which comes with 18W fast-charging out of the box. Software-wise, it will be loaded with FunTouch OS 9 based on the Android Pie OS. For those who’re interested, Vivo U3 will be available in 3 color options including Spar Blue, Agate Black, as well as Jade Porcelain Green.
Vivo U3 Pricing & Availability
The Vivo U3 is available in two memory options including 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB, which are priced at 999 Yuan (US$141) and 1,199 Yuan (US$169) respectively.
Currently, the device is already available for pre-order in the Chinese market, and will go on sale starting November 1st.
