Xiaomi finally introduces App Drawer feature to MIUI 11

Xiaomi has finally announced that the feverishly-anticipated App Drawer feature will finally be coming to MIUI 11. This means Xiaomi smartphone users will no longer need to rely on third-party launcher to bring this feature to their device.

The screenshots above, courtesy of Android Police, give us a good idea how the App Drawer will look like on the device. Apparently, there will be a centralize button in the app bar which will open up the App Drawer upon tapping.

Within the App Drawer, you can find the most recently used apps located on the top row, and subsequently the rest of the apps listed in alphabetical order. Similarly, users can also simply tap on the downward-facing arrow located at the top to collapse the App Drawer when no longer in use.

On the side note, Xiaomi had already begun rolling out the MIUI 11 stable update to 15 more devices in China yesterday. This means that the global rollout for these devices may be imminent.
