It seems like Sony will soon be unveiling a new mid-range handset – Sony Xperia ZR. According to sources, the Xperia ZR will be coming with some impressive features including an IP58 water resistance rating which is apparently of a higher grade than the Xperia Z, and will be able to be submerged approximately half a meter more. Some of the leak specifications of the device include : 4.6-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset, 2GB RAM, 13 megapixels Exmor RS camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD capability, 2,300 mAh battery, as well as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean onboard.
As of now, we’re not really sure how the device will look like so hopefully we’ll be able to catch a glimpse of its leaked image in the next few days or weeks.
