Huawei had launched the Mate 30 series of flagship phones in China in September. At that time, the Mate 30 Pro 5G was introduced with a pricing of 6,899 Yuan for the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model. The highest edition of the phone with 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage was priced at 7,899 Yuan. Starting from today, the Chinese manufacturer is selling a new base model for the Mate 30 Pro 5G. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The new model is priced at 6,399 Yuan.

The Mate 30 Pro 5G has a 6.53-inch OLED display with in-screen fingerprint reader. It produces 1176 x 2400 pixels resolution. The curved screen with a wider notch that houses 32-megapixel main lens and a 3D ToF sensor is available for capturing selfie shots. The device also carries support for face unlock.
The Kirin 990 5G SoC powers the phone. The phone runs on Android 10 OS that is customized with EMUI 10. The rear shell of the phone features a triple camera setup that includes an OIS enabled 40-megapixel main lens, an OIS enabled 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 40-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 3D ToF camera. It houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 40W rapid charging, 27W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. The handset lacks support for 3.5mm audio jack.
