An upcoming OPPO smartphone with model number PCPM00 was previously certified by the Chinese TENAA authority. This device, according to reports, is none other than the OPPO A91 which was recently spotted in a leaked promo poster.
Today, the same device had been spotted on Geekbench with some pretty decent benchmark result. The OPPO A91 has scored 1,479 points for it’s single-core performance and 5,733 points for it’s multi-cores performance.
It’s Geekbench listing also revealed that the device is likely to be driven by Mediatek’s Helio P70 SoC and has 8GB worth of RAM under the hood. Other than that, the OPPO A91 is also expected to arrive with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 128GB onboard storage and a respectable 4,025mAh battery.
Moving on to it’s camera, the OPPO A91 will come with a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-camera setup on it’s rear panel, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing selfie camera.
Even though the device has yet to be announced, but it’s official renders had already appeared on Chinese Weibo.
The renders show off a sublime design which has a slim profile measuring just 7.9mm (excluding the rear lens). It will feature a vertical camera module on it’s rear panel that houses four camera sensors. On the right side of the camera module, there is also a LED flash module.
Although we only saw two color options from the renders here, but we’d seen from the earlier promo poster that the device will in fact be available in three colorways including Black, Red and Gradient Blue.
The front panel of the OPPO A91 will feature a dew drop-notch display which slim bezels along it’s two sides. There will also be an under screen fingerprint sensor as well.
Currently, there is still no words on the OPPO A91’s launch date. However, there are some chances that it may be made official alongside the Reno3 series smartphones on December 26th.
