Just a week ago, Google officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition which runs solely on the stock Android 4.2 firmware. Right after Google has unveiled the device, a HTC rep immediately tweeted on her Twitter account that HTC fans should wait – hinting us the arrival of the HTC One Google Edition. However Jeff Gordon, the company’s Senior Global Online Communications Manager was quick to play now those rumors by insisting that “HTC is not currently planning a ‘Nexus Edition’ of the HTC One.”
Similarly, we’re also hearing from Russel Holly from Geek that HTC will be considering a vanilla Android HTC One ‘ Senseless’ edition as well. While we’re quite excited to see the ‘Nexus Edition’ of the HTC One, but it doesn’t really matter to us since we quite like the new Sense 5.0 on the HTC One. Bear in mind, we’ll keep you updated once we hear more rumors on the HTC One Google Edition.
