The Motorola Raz 2019 that went official in November is yet to go on sale. The foldable clamshell phone has a hefty price tag of $1,500. However, whats disappointing about the device is that it is packed with Snapdragon 710 midrange processor which is now obsolete. Samsung will be debuting the Galaxy Z Flip foldable clamshell smartphone on Feb. 11 alongside the Galaxy S20 series. Recent reports have revealed some details on the specs of the Galaxy Z Flip. Its arrival will be a big blow for the Motorola Razr 2019 since it is expected to carry cheaper price tag and better specs.
According to INews24 South Korean publication that cites information acquired through industry source, the Galaxy Z Flip will be price between 1 million won ($863) and 1.5 million won ($1,295). This price way lower than the $1,500 pricing of the Motorola Razr. Moreover, the Galaxy Z Flip will be better phone in terms of specs than the Razr. The Z Flip is expected to go on sale soon after its launch.
The rumor mill has so far revealed that the upcoming foldable clamshell phone from Samsung will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Infinity-O design. It will be featuring an ultra-thin glass display that will be protected a plastic film. In comparison, the Motorola Razr has a 6.2-inch pOLED display.
The Snapdragon 855 mobile platform powers the Galaxy Z Flip. It will be arriving with a 3,300mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The Razr phone has a smaller 2,510mAh battery.
For photography, the Galaxy Z Flip will have a selfie camera of 10-megapixel. It will be the same sensor that is available on the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Note 10 lineup. It will have a secondary 1-inch display for checking notifications.
