Honor’s first smartphone of the year will be launched online

Due to the coronavirus outbreak in China, Honor has confirmed that the company’s first smartphone of the year will be announced online.

Surely, Honor isn’t the only Chinese OEMs which will be unveiling their new launches online. Yesterday, a fresh leak appeared to suggest that Xiaomi will also be announcing their upcoming Mi 10 flagship series via online channels on February 13th.

As of now, there still isn’t much details pertaining to this upcoming Honor smartphone. However, it could possibly be the Honor MOA-AL00 smartphone which were recently certified by the Chinese TENAA authority.

Based on it’s preliminary specs, the device is expected to be an entry-level smartphone targeted at the budget segment.

The ongoing Coronavirus outbreak in China had reportedly caused some Chinese OEMs to push back the launch date of their new smartphones.

Similarly, a recent report had also pointed towards a declining smartphone shipments in the domestic market among Chinese OEMs.
