POCO X2 Debuts in India; Specifications, Features and Price

The POCO X2 has gone official in India. As expected, it is a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 4G smartphone that went official in China in December 2019. The phone offers some exciting features like 120Hz display, 64-megapixel quad cameras and dual front-facing cameras. Also, the phone comes with an enticing starting price of Rs. 15,999 ($225) in India.

The POCO X2’s base model featuring 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage is priced at Rs. 15,999.  The second model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs Rs. 16,999. Lastly, the POCO X2’s top model with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is priced at Rs. 19,999. The first sale of the phone will be carried out on Feb. 11 in India through Flipkart. Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple and Phoenix Red are the three color editions of the smartphone.

POCO X2 Specification and Features

The POCO X2 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display. There is a dual punch-hole on the display that houses a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. The 20:9 screen that is shielded by Gorilla Glass 5 produces full HD+ resolution. It offers an enhanced refresh rate of 120Hz. The back panel of the phone has 3D curved Gorilla Glass 5 with p2i nano-coating for splash resistance.

The rear shell of the device has a 64-megapixel (Sony IMX686) + 8-megapixel (120-degree ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) quad cameras system. It has arrived in India’s first Sony IMX686 camera phone. The Android 10 OS along with MIUI 11 with POCO Launcher runs on the device. It also supports GPU Turbo 2.0 for enhanced gaming experience.

The Snapdragon 730G processor with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM powers the phone along with a 4,500mAh battery. The phone packed includes a 27W rapid charger which can charge it to the brim in 68 minutes. It has up to 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Other features of the phone include dual 4G VoLTE, hybrid SIM slot with microSD card support, side-facing fingerprint reader, 1217 super linear loudspeaker, Hi-Res Audio support, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, IR blaster and 3.5mm audio jack.
