Redmi K30 Pro Officially Confirmed to Debut in March with Notch-less Display

Yesterday, Redmi confirmed that it has stopped the sales of the Redmi K20 series. This has been done to make way for its next flagship phone, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G. Today, the company officially shared a new poster that confirms that the Redmi K30 Pro will be made official in March.

Rumors surrounding the Redmi K30 Pro 5G phone have claimed that it will be arriving with a notch-less display. This suggested that it won’t have a pill-shaped punch-hole screen like the vanilla Redmi K30 phone. The handset is also expected to house a pop-up selfie camera setup. These rumors have finally come true as an official poster that was shared reveals that the Redmi K30 Pro is equipped with a notch-less screen. While the pop-up camera is no invisible, it is likely to inherit the said feature from the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone.

An earpiece can be seen in the narrow top bezel of the phone. The right side of the phone has a volume rocker and a power button. The display of the phone could be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The exact launch date of the smartphone is currently under the wraps. However, the poster confirms that it will go official in March. Some reports have claimed that in order to ensure that the Redmi K30 Pro does not affect the sales of the Mi 10 series, the company may unveil at the end of March.

Reports surrounding the Redmi K30 Pro have revealed that the phone will be coming with a 4,700mAh battery and it may carry support for 33W fast charging. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform that will power the phone will be assisted by LPDDR5 RAM. The rear side of the phone may sport Sony IMX686 64-megapixel quad cameras setup. The pop-up camera setup could be equipped with dual front-facing cameras.
