Redmi K20 Pro Delisted as Company Hints Arrival of Redmi K30 Pro

The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones that had gone official in the second quarter of 2020 had met with a positive reception. Multiple reports have claimed that the company will be launching the Redmi K30 Pro in March. At the beginning of this month, Redmi had confirmed that it will halt the sales of the Redmi K20 Pro. The official announcement has come today from the company. It has now delisted the Redmi K20 Pro.

Redmi has decided to delist the Redmi K20 series after selling over 5 million units of the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro phones. Last year, the company had unveiled the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition few months after the launch of K20 and K20 Pro. The Chinese firm stopped the sales of the K20 and K20 Pro at the end of previous year while the Premium Edition continued to sell until early this month. The Premium Edition is still listed on Xiaomi China’s website. However, it is no longer available for buying.

The above poster released by the company confirms that the Redmi K30 Pro is coming soon. The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform driven K30 Pro is expected to go official in March.

Rumors have it that the Redmi K30 Pro could be sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with notch-less design. It could be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The pop-up selfie camera setup of the phone may include two front-facing shooters.

Like the Redmi K30, the Redmi K30 Pro could be equipped with a vertical camera setup placed inside a round-shaped ring. An alleged leaked render that is now doing rounds on Weibo shows that there are three camera sensors in its camera setup. A fourth lens is available outside the round-shaped ring. The camera setup of the K30 Pro may feature Sony IMX686 64-megapixel primary shooter.

The Redmi K30 Pro phone is likely to house a 4,700mAh battery. It may arrive with support for 33W fast charging.
