Realme X50 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 865 & 65W SuperDart charging

Realme doesn’t fail to impress with each iteration of their flagship launches. Realme X50 Pro, the company’s latest flagship which made it’s global debut today, has continued to bring us loads of wow factors and a brand new flagship experience.

Realme X50 Pro Design

The Realme X50 Pro features a beautiful front panel that employs a capsular hole-punched design for it’s selfie cameras. It continues to impress with a high screen-to-body ratio of 92% with it’s near bezel-less display.

At the back, the device is sheilded with layer of 3D AG Glass that has a frosted-glass matte finishing which matches the low saturation colors of the Realme X50 Pro. This gives it a pretty elegant and premium outlook that is unique from most other flagship devices we’d seen so far.

It’s quad-camera setup comes in the form of a clean-looking vertical camera module which is flanked by a LED flash towards it’s right. It will be available in two color variants including Moss Green and Rust Red.

For starter, the Realme X50 Pro has a 6.44-inches Super AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. It has a buttery smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate and is able to achieve up to 1000nit of peak brightness.

The Realme X50 Pro is driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which is paired by an X55 modem that allows it to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.

In the memory compartment, the device will be equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and as much as 256GB native storage space. It is said that the new LPDDR5 RAM can deliver 29% faster reading speed and is accompanied by a 14% reduction in power consumption.

Moving on to it’s camera, the Realme X50 Pro’s rear camera comprises of a 64 megapixels main shooter, a 12 megapixels telephoto lens that supports up to 20x hybrid zoom, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a b&w portrait lens.

At the front, it’s selfie cameras consist of a 32 megapixels main shooter as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens that offers up to 105-degrees field of view which makes group selfie shots a walk in the park.

Under the hood, the Realme X50 Pro is fueled by a 4,200mAh battery which comes with an incredible 65W SuperDart charge capability. It is claimed that one full charge from 0 to 100% will take merely 35 minutes, while a 20 minutes charge is enough to bring the device from 0 to 60%.

As expected, the device will run on the company’s proprietary Realme UI based on Android 10 OS.

In the Indian market, the Realme X50 Pro retails at Rs.37,999 (US$529) and Rs.39,999 (US$556) for it’s 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models respectively. It’s highest-end model with a hefty 12GB+256GB memory configuration will set you back with Rs.44,999 (US$626).
