OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro smartphones will be made official on March 6. It is speculated that the company will be also announcing the OPPO Watch alongside the Find X2 series. The Find X2 series will be sporting three rear-mounted cameras. A Chinese tipster has shared the details of the cameras of the Find X2 Pro.
According to the tipster, the main lens of the phone will be 1/1.4” Sony IMX689 48-megapixel lens with 1.12micron pixel size. Past reports have claimed that it is a custom lens developed by Sony in partnership with OPPO. The second one in the camera setup of the Find X2 Pro is the good old Sony IMX586 48-megapixel lens. The third one is Samsung S5K3M5 13-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. The main camera and the periscope lens are said to be equipped with OIS.
The Bluetooth certification of the smartphone had also revealed that it will be arriving with a 48-megapixel + 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel camera setup on its back. For snapping selfies, the phone will posses a Sony IMX616 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powers the Find X2 Pro. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers 3K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to be equipped with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It will come preloaded with ColorOS 7 based Android 10 OS.
The OPPO Find X2 Pro’s battery size is not known yet. What’s known is that it will support 65W fast charging. The leakster claims that the handset weighs 192 grams. The other known features of the phone include in-display fingerprint reader, UFS 3.0 storage and Wi-Fi 6.
