Xiaomi will be launching the Black Shark 3 smartphone on March 3. Some reports have claimed that the lineup includes Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 3 Pro smartphones. It is believed that these phones have KLE-A0 and MBU-A0 model numbers. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared a teaser video that showcases a charging feature of the smartphone.
The rear shell of the Black Shark 3 has a magnetic charging port which makes it possible to charge the phone conveniently while playing games. Alternatively, users can make use of the USB-C port present at the bottom side of the device to charge the device. The company had recently confirmed that the device will arrive with support for 65W fast charging for its massive battery of 4,720mAh capacity.
Jun has also mentioned that the phone is also equipped with a headphone jack. In comparison, predecessor Black Shark 2 Pro did not feature a 3.5mm audio jack. In the above teaser, the Tencent Games branding can be seen towards the bottom of the back panel.
The Snapdragon 865 powered Black Shark 3 smartphone was recently seen with 620,952 benchmark score on AnTuTu. The smartphone will be arriving with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display that produces quad HD+ resolution and a touch sampling rate of 270Hz touch sampling rate.
The other details of the smartphone are currently under the wraps. Hopefully, the phone will appear on TENAA with its entire specs before going official.
