Here’s how the Sky White OPPO Reno3 (Global) will look like

OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO Reno3 (Global version) will be making it’s official debut on March 16th. This device, according to the folks over at 91Mobiles, will come with some slight modifications in terms of it’s internals as compared to the Chinese variant.

Right now, we’d gotten our hands on the Sky White variant of the OPPO Reno3 (Global) as well. As mentioned previously, the Reno3 (Global) will maintain pretty much the same design language as the current variant in China.

However, the Reno3 (Global) will feature a dual-LED flash on the rear instead of a single LED flash. Towards the right of it’s rear camera module, there is also a new “Hybrid Zoom” wording as well.

From what we’d learned so far, the Reno3 (Global) will be driven by MediaTek’s Helio P90 SoC instead of the Dimensity 1000L SoC. This mean that the device will not be able to support 5G connectivity since Helio P90 isn’t a 5G-ready chip.

Similarly, the selfie camera of the OPPO Reno3 (Global) will also see a significant upgrade from a 32 megapixels sensor to a 44 megapixels sensor.

As for the device’s quad-camera setup, it’s main shooter will be replaced with a 48 megapixels sensor instead of having the 64 megapixels sensor which we saw from the Chinese variant.

However, the device will now feature a 13 megapixels telephoto lens which was previously absence on the Chinese variant. Other than that, the other two sensors also include an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.

With regards to it’s official pricing and availability, we’ll probably get to learn more about them on March 16th.
