Here’s how the upcoming Honor Play 9A will look like

Honor will be unveiling the much awaited Honor 30S smartphone on March 31st later this month. However, besides the Honor 30S, the company is said to be prepping another entry-level phone known as the Honor Play 9A.

Although this device has yet to make it’s official debut, but the folks over at Pricebaba had managed to lay their hands on the Honor Play 9A’s official renders ahead of it’s launch.

Honor Play 9A Render

Just like most other entry-level phones, the Honor Play 9A will arrive with a typical dewdrop-notch IPS LCD display which is said to measure 6.3-inches diagonally.

On it’s flip-side, there will be a rectangular camera module which houses a dual-camera setup. The rear cameras comprises of a 13 megapixels main shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be completed with an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.

Based on the design of the camera module, we believe this device could be the recently certified Honor MOA-AL00 smartphone.

For some reasons, ever since the Honor V30 was announced last year, most of Honor’s upcoming smartphones are featuring a similar-looking rectangular camera module.

Even the upcoming Honor 30S and Honor 9X Lite also shares pretty much the same design ethos for it’s rear camera.

In terms of internals, we wouldn’t be expecting anything impressive since it’s an entry-level phone. Nonetheless, the Honor Play 9A will be driven by a MediaTek’s Helio P35 SoC which will be paired with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage space.

The device will be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery which offers a standard 10W charging rate. It will boot on the latest Magic 3.0 based on Android 10 OS (AOSP version).
